WHITTLESEY
RGE’s factory in Whittlesey is our largest manufacturing site, housing nearly 50 injection moulding machines with an impressive clamp force range of 35 to 3,150t. Here, we are able to offer FIFO high density storage solutions, pad printing and assembly services, alongside extensive mould tool servicing and repair capabilities. Whittlesey is also home to our toolroom, allowing us to service mould tools and run production under the same roof. RGE factories operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, producing over 100,000 injection moulded parts per week and approximately 6 million large parts per year.
YATE
Our white goods factory site in Yate, Bristol allows us to supply finished key moulded components directly to our customer’s assembly line, on site. Major investments at this site have streamlined production in the factory, increasing efficiency and reducing waste. Established in 2004, the dedicated injection moulding facility boasts a clamp force of up to 1,000t, as well as ultrasonic welding, CNC pad printing, and fully automated production cells. Large plastic mouldings are produced using tools made and serviced in-house by RGE tooling. RGE continues to innovate and adapt our facilities in order to enhance efficiency, without cutting on quality.
LITHUANIA
Our Injection moulding site in Šiauliai houses over 50 injection moulding machines, as well as automated production cells, and offers pad printing and assembly services. With capabilities of up to 1,000t clamp force, the 90,000 square foot facility produces in excess of 50 million mouldings per annum, servicing many of our clients in Europe.
CHINA
In 2001, RGE opened our toolmaking facility in China. RGE has had a presence in China since 1998, but decided to open a dedicated injection mould tool production site, based in Shenzhen. The site has the capability for bi-injection, gas assisted, high cavitation and hardened tools up to 15t. The facility is capable of producing 250 mould tools each year, using local expertise alongside UK based project managers.
